The INXS and U2 Show
Original Sin – Australia’s premier INXS tribute show, paying homage to one of our country’s most popular & successful bands, INXS!
The show covers songs spanning all 3 decades, from their debut self titled INXS, through to Shabooh Shoobah, The Swing, Listen Like Thieves, KICK, X, and Elegantly Wasted albums.
Original Sin has been touring for over 12 years and have established themselves as the most authentic, true representation of the band that was, INXS. With over 650 shows to date, Original Sin is the most sought after INXS tribute show in Australia.
With the advent of INXS’ recently retirement, Original Sin will continue the legend that is, bringing you all the Michael Hutchence era hits of years gone by – Classic songs like Never Tear Us Apart, Don’t Change, What You Need, Kiss The Dirt, Just Keep Walking, New Sensation, Need You Tonight, Original Sin, I Send A Message & Burn For You, along with a plethora of other classic INXS tunes.
“Michael Hutchence was a huge influence in my teenage years. He inspired me to sing and perform. INXS were an integral part of me wanting to become a musician.
ACHTUNG BABY is no ordinary U2 tribute show. Sure, the singer looks exactly like Bono, but that’s just the start. Unlike other U2 cover bands, he actually sounds like Bono too. Audiences are delighted in the way he charismatically owns the stage – just like the real Bono. His powerful vocal range and subtle nuances reflect Bono’s unique style to perfection and sometimes it’s hard to remember that ACHTUNG BABY are not the real thing. It’s all about the music for ACHTUNG BABY and audiences know it. From the early hits, I Will Follow and New Years Day, to the classic anthems, Where the Streets Have No Name, Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday, right up to recent hits like Vertigo, Elevation and Beautiful Day, ACHTUNG BABY will take their audience on a journey spanning 30 years of U2’s musical history.Sasha who sings as U2’s Bono in the band says “One of our most thrilling gigs is playing to 35,000 people at the Sydney St Patrick Day Festival in Hyde Park each year.
