Here is an Invitation not to miss! Lace up your soccer boots and come join the most family friendly soccer club in the Hills District…the mighty ROCKETS. Our Club aims to promote the culture of the Game of Soccer and to ensure that all participants have lots of good clean fun and provide positive encouragement to all players and teams whether they win or lose! Soccer is the most popular round ball game in the world today….. so get into the game with the ROCKETS in 20112.
The ROCKETS Soccer Club is one of many sporting bodies so fortunate to be part of the Castle Hill RSL Club’s “family”. We are also involved with the Junior Sports Club and have supported the Youth in Excellence Awards since its inauguration 2006/2007. At last year’s Awards Presentation, we were honoured to have four ROCKETS representatives receive the Youth Excellence Awards : all great young ambassadors to our Sport and our Club.
The Club is growing in strength to strength and owes its success not only to our wonderful and generous Sponsors, but to the hard working, dedicated Committee members, along with the enthusiastic support of the coaches, managers and assisting parents.
As a family friendly Club, the ROCKETS are always encouraging new players to register and join us play the game in a competitive and social atmosphere. We cater for all ages, both male and female from as young at 5 yrs to Adults. Listed below is the variety of teams available :-
· Funskills (ages 5 – 6 yrs, both Boys & Girls)
· In-House (ages 7 – 8 yrs, both Boys & Girls)
· Junior Grades (ages 9 – 21 yrs, both Boys & Girls)
· Senior Mens & All Age Ladies
· Premier League
Our game days are:
Funskills and In-House team: play and learn skills on Saturday mornings
Junior Boys Grade teams: Saturday morning into early afternoon
Senior Mens & Premier League teams: mid Saturday afternoons
Junior Girls Grade & All Age Ladies teams: Sunday
Note: Funskills and In-House team games are all held at our home grounds, whereas all other Graded teams play competition games either at our home grounds or away
Our home grounds are located at Eric Mobbs Reserve, Ferguson Avenue, Castle Hill.
After a very successful soccer season during 2011, both on and off the field, the ROCKETS looks forward to welcoming back returning players, as well as new players to take on the challenge in 2012 to play this fantastic game.
