Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club, formerly known as Youth Club caters for children aged 4 years to 18 years and is affiliated with the RSL Youth Council of NSW. Our Club supports both Sporting and Cultural Clubs and is renowned for excellence across the Hills Area and beyond. Membership is required and can be arranged with the assistance of the Intra Club you are joining.

Mission Statement:
The Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club shall be proactive in the support and development of Sport, Recreation and Cultural Groups containing youth aged between 4 years and 18 years who are members of Castle Hill RSL Club, and will strive to encourage responsible community and club participation.

Members By Laws:

1.All Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club Members are required to maintain financial membership as Castle Hill RSL Junior Members in order to participate in their activity or activities held on behalf of youth as part of their individual club within the Castle Hill RSL Youth Activities.
2.Each Individual Club will be required to maintain checks on Paid/Unpaid workers and volunteers within their activities under the Child Protection Act 1998 as well as check on accreditation qualifications of coaches if so required to perform such responsibilities.
3.All Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club Members are required to uphold the junior member Code of Conduct. Inability to do this may result in a member being banned from participation in activities involving the Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club.
4.Each individual Club is required to present a member of their Committee, or secondary approved delegate at the Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club Meetings and attend 75% or more of meetings held each calendar year. Failure to meet these criteria will jeopardize future funding.
5.Each individual club will be an active participant of Castle Hill RSL projects for Youth benefit. Active participation will be described as quality support of numbers to activities, as agreed by the Executive Committee.
6.Each individual club will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Books to be made available upon request by the Castle Hill RSL Club annually.
7.Each individual club will have its own committee that meets and records minutes of it meetings for the benefit of its members. These minutes are to be made available to the Castle Hill RSL Junior Sports Club Executive Committee for viewing.
8.The Club shall maintain liaison with the Sports Committee of the Board of Directors in that it shall appoint 2 members of its committee to attend the Senior Sports Committee meetings which are held on the first Tuesday of the months, March, June, September and December commencing at 7:30pm.
9.At some time it may be the requirement of the parent Club to call on the Sporting Clubs to carry out some duties for the benefit of the Sporting Clubs generally and each club is expected to fully cooperate.
10.Where Open Days are to be held by a Sporting Body that could necessitate in financial assistance being approved by the parent club, the General Manager’s approval shall be first obtained and then ratified by the Board of Directors. Failure to do so will mean any and all costs will be borne by the individual sporting club and Parent Club will accept no responsibility whatsoever.
11.Where equipment is purchased or maintained by the Parent Club for a specific sporting activity, it shall be locked away but shall be available to Club Patrons at all times, for use on the Club premises when not being used by that sporting club.
12.Sporting Clubs who do no wish to comply with the above should purchase their own equipment for their exclusive use.
13.A List of Sporting Club Office Bearers for the current year must be forwarded to the Sports Committee by the 1st November each year and whenever a change occurs.
14.Sporting bodies are encouraged to prepare their own By-Lays appertaining to their individual sporting activity. A copy is to be forwarded to the Sports Committee for information. Such By-Laws shall not include or conflict with items and subjects listed in this document or the Constitution of the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd.
15.Cash Prizes for Competitions are not permitted. It is suggested that Club Vouchers be used. These can be arranged through the General Manager.
