CDSE
The Community Development and Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of front-line services to their local communities; and to ensure that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs.
Community Groups in the Hills Shire now have an opportunity to formally apply for funding made available from profits generated at local clubs through gaming.
The Community Development and Support Expenditure Scheme has been established to formalise this funding process.
A criteria is used to select projects suitable for funding with preference to welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities.
Community groups are encouraged to apply for funding by completing an application form. The details are then processed by representatives from the Hills Council, the Clubs, the Department of Community Services and community organisations.
